I honestly don't have to much to complain about w/ VS. I've just discovered that' i've been between sizes for a while. I use to wear a 34B. always wore it on the last hook ( and of course they stretch out) The last two time the girl said I was a "perfect 34. I measured myself and went back and they said I was between sizes. Once I switched sizes I finally felt like my bra was doing it's job. Goes to show how important measuring is. Make sure the measuring tape is snug when they measure you.
I bought some bras from the pink collection. They were so comfortable after they stretched after the second wear!
I've also been trading (newly bought) vs underwear for years with my friends from high school at christmas time
So I used to buy bras from various stores across the mall. I'm kind of a weird in-between size, so it was always really hard to find bras that fit right, especially after they'd been washed a time or two. I went through bras pretty quickly this way.
However, last fall I bought two bras from the VS Cotton Push Up line - and I am madly in love! They're incredibly comfy and fit perfectly! Plus they're well built and really not that expensive, especially for VS bras. They're about $27 each, or 2 for $40. I love them so much that I went back and got two more, and now they are the ONLY bras that I wear.
I believe they also have Cotton Demis, and I think one other type of bra in their Cotton line. I very much recommend any of their bras, but especially the Cotton ones!
I used to buy panties from various mall stores, usually Charlotte Russe - they're cheap and really cute. Problem was, the sizes were always off, frequently uncomfortable and often poorly made. CR has a lot of great things, but their panties aren't among them!
I recently treated myself to some of Victoria's Secret's cotton panties, and I am in LOVE. I will NEVER buy panties from anywhere else, ever again. Normally their panties are too pricey for my tastes (no reason to spend so much on something no one will see but me and my husband!), but their VS Cotton panties are so incredibly comfy that I can't resist! Plus, they seem to hold up pretty well. Even their thongs (which I normally LOATHE) are relatively comfortable and wearable, but personally I go for the boyshorts.
If you're looking for something comfy but still sexy, definitely go for VS Cotton. They have every different style of panty (boyshorts, bikini, string bikini, thong, brief, high rise brief, hip huggers, etc), with tons of colors and designs, with and without lace. They're normally about $7.50-$8.50 a piece, or 5 for $25.00 - and so worth it!
I thought this matching set was really great, but the lacey material got holes in it just from going through the wash. Tres disappointing. It was really comfortable and the cut was great on both top and bottom. Just wish it'd be easier to care for and last longer.
I keep hearing from people that VS bras are of poor quality. However, I've had a pretty good experience with their Body by Victoria line. Not only does it give me the lift I need ;-), it also has been pretty good on the durability scale.
I do think that a great bra can really enhance a person's outfit, and a bad bra can really affect a person's outfit too. I always feel that when I wear the Body bra, it really does enhance my top and my overall outfit. Not only that, when I feel that I look good, I also feel better about myself.
