Winters in NYC are so brutal, because you're exposed to the elements all the time. I was getting tired of bundling up to go out (undershirt, tank top, blouse, sweater, with thermal leggings under jeans. Talk about bulky!) because I'd be too hot on...

I have to go to Uniqlo every time I go to NY. their denim is the best. love the thick denim and dark, uniform wash. straight skinny cut is more of a straight leg, not too tight around the ankle. rise is a bit higher.
