Good but not great

posted Apr 29, 2010 by

Theory is def., a quality brand. But some of their tops border on old looking and not really forward. The brand itself is not really affordable, but they have great sales and you'll always find a great sweater or shirt from 20-50 dollars. I really love their basic cotton and i believe spandex shirts. I have several. They are very comfortable and they last!!!!!!! They also have cute colors and are great for the gym or w/ jeans and heels. I've gotten a couple from Barney's, but you must go to the sample sales they have at clothingline in NYC.

Theory Ondrea Sequined Top

posted Apr 26, 2009 by

I fell in love the minute I saw this top at Neiman’s! The texture is so amazing but not really shiny. It's more of a pearlescent elegant gleam, like the sequined top at J.C. this winter, which is perfect for day with a blazer or even just by itself! The only size left… the only top left, was a medium, and I am an XS. I still bought 2, anyways hoping that my mom could alter them. She can’t— I STill kept one and just belted it. Ahh, the many wears i get out of this top. And nobody still seems to have it in my size. it goes amazing with bold sunglasses or these men's aviators, 7 for all Mankind jeans, and some comfy pumps. For the summer gatherings I have yet to plan, i'd play up the glamour with a pair of amazing studded stilettos.
