Thakoon for Target dress Reviews

loving this! i love this collection and most of the other collaborations!!!

I love Thakoon for Target. They are so wonderful that they do sell out quickly. I bought two larger sized pieces and took them in to fit me. But that's how badly I wanted them....

I have this dress (had to eBay it because I live in Canada) and I am so pleased with it! It is so chic and elegant. I'm glad I got the grey and black one rather than the white and blue one, which is a little too tie-dyeish for me. It looks nice with the tie belt but I prefer wearing the dress cinched with one of my other leather or elastic belts to provide a little more contrast. Thakoon makes such beautiful dresses; I'm so glad I could get my hands on one this affordable!

I purchased this Thakoon for Target dress at the end of 2008 or the beginning of 2009, I can't remember. But I remember needing something to wear to my mother's inaugural ceremonies (she got elected to the city council here) and I wanted something different. It's a cotton printed, pleated dress with pockets, which I LOVE. The POCKETS on the dress, that is. I honestly can't express in words how much I love a dress with pockets. It also has a waist tie belt, but I much prefer the dress without it. Because of all the cotton and the pleating, it's a bit on the stiff side, and Target's Go! International lines usually run on the small side (mine is a size large, I'm 5'4 mid 130's in the lbs.) Thakoon is now gone from Target and made way for Alexander McQueen's Go! line, but there are still some pieces left on the clearance racks, and I'm sure it'll live on into oblivion on auction sites.

i love these dresses...the look so amazing but for some reason they are almost always sold out or the smaller sizes are gone :(
