So, it’s been over a month since my last post and I miss it I was busy with last minute school assignments, then exams for three weeks, packing and coming home, catching up with people I’ve missed and now my birthday is in two days. :D Then I have to go shopping, repack, go stay over at my friend’s place for a few days and head back to uni. I can’t wait to go back and see all my uni friends and a few of them are taking me to my first bar since I’ll finally be 19. Should be fun but I have no idea what to wear to that sort of thing. I think I’ll wear my most insane/strange outfit then see if I can get any guys to hit on me. Just for fun, since I don’t feel like getting drunk and dancing.

Anyways, my dog decided to run around today and be in my photos. I got annoyed at him jumping on me and having to walk around him so I decided to just carry him haha. He’s also good for hiding my face, since it usually ends up looking silly in my outfit posts. I am cheating a little since this is actually what I wore New Year’s and not today, but the outfit I wore today has already been posted previously so I decided on this. It’s become one of my favourite outfits though. I’ve been trying to find nice clothes in pastel colours for months, and I was so happy when I saw these a couple weeks ago. The outfit may just become over worn in the future (though I do have other pieces of clothing which I can wear to change it up a bit).

It’s been a while since I last uploaded a photo so I just noticed the changes that have been made to Chictopia. I kind of like them, actually.

I woke up today at 4:30pm and had slept for about 18 hours. I only got one hour of sleep the previous night, so I guess that’s acceptable. I’m debating whether or not I should go back to sleep now though haha. I should be studying for a bell ringer Tuesday, and I have for a bit already, but it’s hard when you’re about to fall asleep. Oh well, at least there is only one week left of class, then exams! :D So excited for it to all be over.

After playing video games all weekend it’s time to come back to school and go back to work. :( I have a midterm Tuesday and a big test Thursday to study for, as well as multiple assignments due in the near future, that I have to prepare for so I probably won’t have a life for the next week. Then I have a week or two long break from things being due and exams start. I can’t wait until they are over and I can finally relax and do what I want. Just one month left…
This is an old vintage find and I’m thinking of how I can make it look more modern. I might replace the silver shell buttons with black ones and maybe add black sleeve cuffs as well. I’m not sure though. Any ideas?

So, on my trip to value village I got this pretty lingerie dress. My roommate kept making fun of me for wearing it in public but she said it was only obvious it was lingerie when I was sitting or something. Two of my other friends said it was really pretty and the texture of it is really nice. It’s just a little wrinkled unfortunately, but it looked better in person.
I finally visited home today, and I was lucky to find out it was just in time for my dad’s birthday. :D We just had dinner and both cake and pumpkin pie for dessert haha. My dad got the guitar hero 5 games and some other stuff from some of his friends, so I’ve been playing that all day. When my sister gets home I have to help her with physics and biology studying for her tests this week. I hope I get paid..

So the weather here has been really strange lately. Just last week it was warm enough to go outside without a winter coat, and now there was a bit of frost on the trees when I woke up. I’m glad my classes today are all indoors so I don’t have to go outside at all. I like dressing a little more summery on these days so I can pretend that it isn’t actually winter. Well, I know it’s not actually winter yet but it feels like it.
A couple days ago me and my friend went to value village for their 50% off sale and I found this denim jacket/button up top. I’ve been trying to find one that I could pull off, and I think this one works. I’m currently pinning the back to make it less big, but I’ll get around to actually sewing it smaller eventually. Now I just need to find/make the perfect denim shorts.. :P

Old episodes of The Rachel Zoe Project, sleep and school work. That’s all the past few days have consisted of. I can’t wait until next weekend where I can be back in Toronto again and out of this incredibly boring city. This semester in over in less than a month! So excited. :D
When I went running earlier, I had my hair in a messy bun and blahblah. When I came back to my room I looked like a lion so I figured I’d try side braiding it. I think my hair is still too short because there were quite a few pieces that kept coming out and I had to put many pins in. It is an easy way to fix the lion hair issue though.
