This is my new favorite top, nice and slouchy for staying inside, hiding from the snow. Leopard print is the only animal print I really like, but I REALLY like it. I think it’s because when you look at them close up the spots look kinda like flowers!

I finally managed to snap an outfit photo, jeez! Taking pictures in my new place is not really possible because there’s so little light, but I braved the cold and the construction workers tearing down the building next door to show off this dress I found recently. I had to take quite a bit of fabric off the bottom, but now I absolutely love it. It’s crazy soft and nice and flowy and all that good stuff.

I’ve found myself doing a lot of mixing of prints lately—mostly because I can’t seem to buy solids! I figure that as long as the colors go well, the prints will follow…

Last Wednesday, I attended the Lewis Spring 2010 presentation. I went searching around madly for something new and exciting to wear in the days leading up to the show, but eventually I ended up just falling back on old favorites. I bought this dress last year to attend a party for BUST Magazine, and I’ve had this vintage Louis Vuitton doctor’s bag hanging for ages. It was nice to finally have a chance to wear it where it didn’t seem totally ostentatious!

I went looking for a practical, all-purpose black shoulder bag the other day…and left with this leopard skin number instead. Ooops! I couldn’t say no though, I just fell in love. And that little gold leaf charm really sealed the deal.
