I am a mom, but I refuse to wear sweatpants or sensible shoes because society says I should. I am the wife of a comedian/actor, and my outfits often end up the butt of a joke, or sometimes even on stage. I don’t care. I love what I wear. Fashion saved me twice, (literally) and I will love it forever. I consider myself an artist, and dressing myself is my art. I love that I’d rather be good and sweet, than bitchy and fierce. I believe taking the time out to tell a stranger their outfit is awesome, and you appreciate their talent, can change the world!
