My name is Lara Boffa, I’m 22 years old and I live on the tiny Mediterranean island of Malta. I like to believe that I was really born in Paris but I somehow ended up on this island. I find it helps me to come to terms with my obsession with the French capital.
I have been a fashion freak for as long as I can remember and sometimes I tell my friends that when they were trying to choose between daddy and chips, I was already choosing between Chanel and Louis Vuitton. The world of fashion has always fascinated me. It has been and will continue to be my favourite form of escapism.
For me, fashion – and most importantly, style – is a way of life, a form of self-expression, a creative process. I believe that there’s nothing quintessentially different between writing a song, painting a picture of getting dressed in the morning. Yes, style is that important to me.
I started to blog in April 2011, when I finally plucked up courage to get my voice out there. This blog contains my take on anything that catches my eye or deserves a mention. Photography, design, illustration and all things pretty and creative interest me immensely. I like to consider my blog as an outlet to develop my little fashion ideology.
One day, I am going to become a fashion writer, or preferably, the editor of Vogue. Until then, I am set on reading Vogue as if it were the bible.
