I don't actually own a pair of minnetonka, but I borrowed it once from a friend when my feet was soring from my high heels. The comfort those shoes bring is amazing. And the design is also very extraordinary. I think I should buy one pair for my own.
I was so excited when i ordered the high lace up boots in beige. I found that while they were extremely comfortable, they ran a size larger and stretch out, so i would conisder getting a size down. I also wish i got the Knee highs in black, becuase i get the "you look like an indian" comment a lot.
Now the shorter lace up mInnetonkas i got in black, again a size too large, they look a bit clumsy on as im used to chic booties but they are perfect with jean shorts and a hippie chic top.
for a long time i was reluctant to get them but i'm so glad i did
they're super comfy and versatile
I ordered these online in August. I was a little skeptical at first because the ones I ordered do not have soles, but after wearing them for a few days I was in love. They are amazingly comfortable and cute (I got them with the beaded thunderbird.) and they are surprisingly durable. The bottom is made out of suede like the rest of the shoes, but much to my surprise it doesn't wear out. The bottom of the shoes burnishes and gets shiny and hard as you wear them. I've had them for six months now and I wear them all the time and they show no signs of falling apart or anything.
