I’m a city refugee; a writer who can’t support herself in the big city any longer so escaped to her mother’s isolated chalet near the sea. Occasionally going days without seeing another soul, my outfits have become an obsession in the hopes that a neighbour might pass by. With access to an attic full of my Dutch mum and grandmama’s clothing, not a day goes by where choosing what to wear isn’t an amazing task. My favourites are sweaters knitted by deceased relatives and my lace poncho and my many miniskirts… My cabin fever must be nurtured somehow, so the internets has been my savior.
