I’m from the Caribbean, so we get a mix of style influences: North American, European, our African background, our native backgrounds, etc. We love bright colours and we love to stand out. Personally I love to mix and match styles and colours because I hate to look like everyone else or to follow a particular fashion trend because everyone else is doing it. That’s why I love brands like H&M because all their pieces are very bold and unique. I’ve recently taken a liking to American Apparel as well.
