So my friend’s birthday, celebrated in London Watering hole The Bathouse and here I am in my new black leather shorts from local Brick Lane vintage store – Hunky Dory- which I LOVE and want to wear everywhere. Like, I would sleep in them if I could. Can you walk the dog in leather pants?

They were made with an itty bitty person in mind though, so to wear them you have to be in the mood to suck it up. In my head, these would look good with heels and little else, but lest I get done for indecent exposure, the rest of the outfit was thrown together with the leather cut-offs the centre-piece. Topshop denim shirt check, Asos heart tights check; some over-the-knee socks for some added warmth and Emma Cook brothel creeper wedges. Oh and my mizpah ring necklace which I never take off.

….when it came to dishing out the eyelashes, God was sparing with me. Mine are long but alas, negated by their sparsity. Quite literally, few and far between. I’ve now lost my She Umeura ones as pictured but just stocked up on extensions au naturel. It never occurred to me to do this; so fingers crossed I’ll look like I have naturally thick eyelashes without looking overly Minnie Mouse. I may even get some permanent ones put in…but I’ll give these new fakes a whirl at the weekend first.

Spam legs aside. I quite like Cos at the moment. The store seems to get new stuff in like, every day, and has a lot of nice dresses and sweaters. The buyers must be watching the catwalks like hawks. Living in perpetual freezingness (good ol’ Blighty) I’ve become a committed fan of grungey jumpers and anything that basically swallows me in wool. I’m hoping one day to make it to somewhere warm so I can try something new – like shorts (minus the layers of tights/leggings/thermals) – but for now its big love to big jumpers.

Oh and blog; we’re in N.E.E.T this month.

…is doing the rounds again but is more subtle this time. Liking anything denim/acid wash, double denim, two tone and black denim shorts. Had few shows to go to for LFW and wore this to Belle Sauvage which was a highlight.
