I've been a fan of Keds, but everyone that I know has all the solid color ones. However, when I spotted these colorful ones, I felt like they made a pair especially for me. The have great colors and they go with everything. I think I might have to get some of the regular Keds, just because they are so comfortable.
Keds are my shoe of choice for work and for play. These shoes may not have the arch support for running or intense working out--but I wear them anyway for my jogging. Shin splints are a small price to pay for the bright and adorable styles that Keds sneakers are available in. As a freshman I owned 10+ pairs of Keds each in a different color, pattern, or style. I must say that I have outgrown the sneaker phase, but I still buy a pair or two to wear to work. Currently I sport a neon pink pair and a set in neon green. As a waitress, I get many compliments on them. Besides being cute, they are comfortable when one is on their feet for hours at a time. Both affordable and chic to be partnered with a bright, summer dress or urban-neons, Keds are a no-nonsense alternative to the dressed up style I usally turn to. All in all, I am very fond of my little lace ups and will continue to sport them on my days on leisure and strolling.
