This outfit is from last week. It was super gloomy rainy day. I like to try and wear some nice colours when its rainy and gray instead of just being black and grey and a bit boring. This is the first time I have worn my cowboy boots without jeans tucked into them. I have gotten quite addicted to it and been wearing them heaps since this photo was taken.

This outfit is actually from last week but I forgot to post it until today. It was a really hot day and I was just wishing it was Spring or even Winter but basically just any season other than Summer. I am definately not a summer girl! So i decided to dress for Spring and just pretend that it wasn’t so hot to keep my mind of it. It didn’t work out too well. I was still hot but I was happy with my outfit.

It was incredibly hot today on the Gold Coast but I really wasn’t feeling wearing a dress. This outfit was made around the necklace. I bought the necklace on sale from Diva for like $5. Elephants are my favourite animal so I couldn’t pass it up and it was such a bargain too. My boyfriend told me that I looked like I was going on Safari hence the title.

I have been thinking a lot lately about my personal style and how I would like to look everyday. This outfit essentially is how I would love to dress everyday of the week. Girly and colourful with some inspiration taken from the 50’s. I have made a list of 101 things to do in 1001 days and one of those is to develop my personal style. I think I have an idea now of what my personal style is and now I just need to embrace it and develop it further.

So I haven’t posted on here in ages. I started off well but my boyfriend gets a little annoyed with having to take my photo all the time so I gradually stopped. I really need to buy a tripod so I can take my own photos. But until then photos from me might be a bit sparse. I have also been working a lot lately and my work uniform is not the most excitng thing to post. But bear with me because I love posting my outfits on here and seeing what everyone thinks of them !
So I made this skirt the other week and I love it! I wore it the other weekend for my nephews christening. It was a stinking hot day so I wanted to look nice but still be cool. I really liked this outfit because it was comfortable and still looked nice!

Technically this is my first Halloween ever! Halloween is not a big thing in Australia but this year my friend decided to throw a party and I decided to dress up as Dorothy.
I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a costume so I used a shirt, shoes and socks that I already had in my cupboard. I made the dress myself and it cost about $9. I also bought some ribbon to tie in my hair which was $2.
I had so much fun at my first Halloween I can’t wait till next year!
