Today i went to meet my boy for lunch, we spent most of the time wandering around aimlessly until we settled in a park to watch pigeons. I don’t know if any of you have noticed this or aren’t crazy like myself to sit around observing pigeons but they’re terribly ungraceful birds and their landings, oh my! I found myself ducking an awful lot everytime they flew over my head, in fear of them wanting to make a nesting spot atop my head, however my boy pointed out that his mop of unruly curls would probably make for a more coveted nesting spot!

The shirt i haven’t worn in a long time and the cardigans is my mothers, its always fun to raid your parents wardrobe and coming out with a gem every now and then :)

After recently finishing up with my college course i’ve done nothing but lay around all day eating m&m’s (crispy of course) whilst watching movies. It took alot of motivation on my fathers part to get me up to go for a walk around our local trail walks. Its called Point Peron and you have spectacular views of the ocean and my town. Looking back I’m glad i did it, however my feet aren’t thanking me for it….back to the couch i say!

This is a fairly simple outfit, not really much to it but its comfortable. I bought these jeans yesterday, they’re a higher rise but in all honesty I’m not sure if they fit my body shape all that well? Your opinions would be much appreciated. My necklace is in the shape of a little silver dinosaur, its by this great label aussie jewellery label called Proverb, i tried to take pictures of it but they weren’t coming up well at all.

I’m off to a midnight screening of The Whackness at the outdoor cinemas tonight with my boyfriend, it should be good but I’m not sure if i have the stamina to stay up until then, especially not after having started work at 6am this morning! I hope you all have a good weekend :)

Wasn’t to sure about posting this outfit, its a bit hit and miss in my opinion but i was running late for my orientation and threw this together. My favourite thing about my outfit is my brooch, its by my friends label Made By White, they’re a sister duo who make adorable jewellery out of materials such as perspex and wood. So i had my orientation for school today, I’m studying graphic design and I’m excited and also nervous to see what the year holds! The orientation itself seemed to drag on forever, afterwards i went to meet a friend for lunch and indulged in a little retail therapy, i picked up a cool pair of shorts that have a checkered pattern on them…they remind me of chef pants, hopefully i’ll get around to posting a picture of them sometime soon.

So i’m about to head off to a concert with my boyfriend this evening, we’re going to see Whitley, he’s this great folk artist…i’ve been looking forward to this concert for months. I thought i’d post a picture of the outfit i’ve chosen to wear tonight, i’m not really sure on the top, it scoops pretty low and reveals my bra :S haha so i’m feeling kind of apprehensive about wearing it out tonight…hopefully it’ll be dark!

This is one of my favourite dresses for summer, i love the print and the colours. I wore this down to the beach with some friends, this was taken before my haircut and its safe to say i’m missing the length my hair used to be pre cut :( haha!
