I’m realizing more and more how awkward I am in front of the camera. I forced my Mom to take these pictures of me because if I take any of myself they turn out even worse. The ones I took were a disaster, and the ones my mom took were only slightly better so ignore the quality of the pictures. I wore this to Sunday dinner at my parents house, then to my friends art opening. He makes these stunning mixed medium pictures of the most random things and they turn out so beautiful. I wish I was talented like that, but I’m not in the least bit creative. I was meant to just enjoy beautiful things, not create them.

There was a blizzard this weekend in my city and the temperature has literally dropped by 15 degrees celsius since last week. I’m officially in hibernation. The sad thing is that I became so obsessed with the boots I’m wearing in these pictures that I drove through the blizzard to just to get them because they were last ones left. My car got stuck in a snow drift when I was driving to the store, but I made it and I got them. How desperate is that. Anyway, I don’t regret it, they were completely worth it.

It finally snowed this weekend and it hasn’t really stopped since. It’s cold, icy, and it’s so hard to drive. I broke out both these sweaters because they are so comfy and I love how easy it is to just pull both of them on. They both always make me feel like I’m being hugged. Everyone I know hates the pink though, but that just makes me love it more. Oh and don’t mind my nephew in the background.

I have been wearing all black or grey for so long lately that I felt like I needed to start incorporating a little bit of color into my outfits. I wore this to see Bill Cosby with my mom, how random is that. My mom was so excited about it, so I tagged along and it actually ended up being a lot of fun. I used to be obsessed with the Cosby show when I was younger. My mom kept making fun of me the whole night about how my outfit did not match.

I wore this yesterday for drinks out with friends and I was probably the warmest person there. That’s why I love sweater dresses.
