I probably love J.Crew more than anyone I know, mainly because I think their cut generally fits me well, and I love their style--clean and classic. Since I'm always looking at their online sales, I saw a pair of jeans on sale for $40. I thought -- great deal since I trust jcrew's fit and this price is GREAT for a pair of jeans.
I got them and I actually loved them straight off. Loved the dark blue and it was my first try at skinny jeans and they looked and felt great. In fact, I wore them so much that now I've noticed their color is not really dark blue anymore. :-( That's where the disappointment comes in.
If these jeans lasted the test of time with wash after wash, their rating would definitely be much higher. They are now a faded color of darkish blue, neither here nor there. I wear them now basically because I haven't gotten around to getting a replacement pair. They still look *ok*, but are not the look I originally wanted.
