Speaking of forever sweetheart, Edward Norton has to be at the top of my laminated list (any Friend’s fan here?). I was a little shocked to learn today that a girl in the office (college age) didn’t know who he is, so I thought I’d do a little background introduction for all the great films he starred in during the 90s.
1. Primal Fear is a suspense story of a lawyer who defended a criminal that he believed to be not guilty. The criminal was in fact, a killer and an excellent con-artist. Edward Norton played the sleaze and did an amazing job. That was one of his first films, and I knew then that he was going to become some famous Hollywood actor one day. .
2. Fight Club is probably his most well known movie to date. It’s a little hard to explain what the movie is about, I would compare it to American Beauty, where the drama happens in a person’s daily life, but also in his own head. Brad Pitt was the other leading man in the movie, and Eward Norton played the evil twin.
3. Keeping the Faith is one of my favorite romantic comedies to date. Edward Norton both directed and starred in the movie. Most people find it a little slow, as it’s mostly just witty conversation and light-hearted sarcasm toward Catholicism and Judaism. But if you pay attention, there are quite a few good one liner and some great romance and humor scenes in the movie.
I’ve been impressed by his acting and his talent as a director. Out of all the Hollywood celebrity male actors, he’s not the most striking nor attention grabbing. But every movie he starred in has always left a deep impression on me. So here is a tribute to Edward Norton, my forever sweetheart.

I’ve been looking for the perfect casual dress to wear at home. It’s the holidays, and I’ve probably consumed more boxes of chocolate than I did bottles of water. Time to wear loose shirts and dresses. The Zara sale in downtown SF was pretty good this weekend, so I snagged this comfy dress to wear at home.

You know you’ve made it in the street style scene when a gay boy from Castro stops you at the grocery store and compliment you on your outfit. This coat is a lot of fun to wear both indoors and outdoors. It’s a cape, but when unzipped, I also use it as a blanket. I haven’t dressed up too much lately, as I haven’t had to leave the house much because of the holidays. But I look forward to taking a lot more outfit photos in 2010. Happy New Years to everyone!
Btw, it wasn’t my birthday on New Years. I think I may have forgotten to check the birthday dropdown when I signed up for Facebook, so it defaulted to 1/1. But thanks for all the birthday wishes anyway. Always good to know that someone has pleasant wishes for you!

I have been wanting this jacket for months. Knowing that there are 20 different ways to wear it helps me justify buying this as a Christmas present to myself. Tyler from Harputs Market even put on custom buttons for me.

Gift ideas? Add as Favorite Photo

I did a lot of Christmas shopping over the past weekend. I’m still not done, but I’m glad that I got an early start this year. I wore this out fit going shopping because it was very comfortable.
I saw a post in the forum about gift ideas, so I thought I’d share a few of mine:
1. Cashmere mittens for parents
2. Clutch for sisters/cousins
3. Nice shirts for boyfriends/husbands
4. tuna for cats
What are some other ones? I’m curious to see what everyone else is buying this Christmas.

I was not able to convince my fiance to go see it with me today.
