Who said you can’t wear dark colours on a sunny day?
Who said you can’t have hair that looks like it hadn’t been brushed in two weeks?
Who said you can’t wear a tonne of eye makeup on a relaxing sunday afternoon?
Who said you can’t wear leggings anymore because they are so 2008/09???
Who said you can’t wear suede booties in summer? And why can’t you wear 5-inch booties to the supermarket?
I’d say… who are you to tell me??
I am so comfortable in this and that’s all that matters :)

Summer in Australia +
Xmas preparation +
Working 6-7 days a week +
Trying to set up my own blog but can’t be bothered doing webpage designs =
My lack of posts
Meanwhile.. check out these Emma Cook’s i scored.. i loved them the first time i saw them last year on the internet, but they sold out like crazy, and they weren’t sold cheap neither. I managed to get this one at a much cheaper price on the internet recently because they were a pair of display-item. But dangggg they are perfect, hardly have any flaws, i don’t think anybody had tried them on before they were sold to me.
I am so happy. But i have absolutely no occasion to wear this pair of shoes to, hahaha… i’m more of a black-5-inch-ankle-boots type of girl. But as a shoe collector, i would say this piece of loveliness is very very rare and valuable. Even if i did have an occasion, i am not sure if i would wear them out, i mean, they are white!!! The outside world is not exactly clean and accommodating.
Sorry no face photos today. My makeup is melting faster than you can say “I need a freaking ice-cream!!!”
:(
Have a great Xmas everyone if i don’t update by then!
:)

Got this necklace four months ago for my birthday, custom-made by the ever-so-lovely Norwegianwood. This was the 2nd item i have purchased from her. This first item was this skirt. I am one happy fan. I chose this colour combination (from top to bottom, the colours are rust, gold, and champagne). It is the most gorgeous statement necklace i could ever own.
These (faux) leather pants are very comfortable but they worry me. Everytime i sit down i have to lower myself very very slowly, at grandmother-speed, hahaha… my biggest fear is if my movement is too fast, the pants might burst… hahaha.

Have you ever noticed how sometimes Chictopia’s homepage says there are like “740 users online” and then go to the “Chic Corner” page and see there are only like 50 members signed in?!
Yeh, so from now on i would like to protect my page and i only want fellow Chictopians to view my posts. In order to do so, i need to set all my posts to “Friends Only”. This is my last public post :)
I have been going through my past posts, trying to add everyone, but i can only send 15 friend requests per day as per Chictopia’s guidelines… so if you would like to see my posts, can you please kindly send me a friend request? Don’t be intimidated, i am friendly and i will accept requests from anyone who is an active chictopian :D
Thanksss people :)

Haven’t posted for the past month because i was experiencing too many health problems… a few colds, a few fevers… 2 counts of chest pains, 1 of which admitted me to the emergency ward of a hospital. I have now been officially diagnosed with permanent Pleurisy, meaning for the rest of my life i am going to be attacked by random chest pains and there is nothing i can do about it… whopp dee doo… oh and today i woke up with an eye infection, hence the puffiness and the squinting in these photos. Ahhh what’s next?!
These new babies are my tallest shoes yet. A beautiful 5.5 inches, or 14cm, or i-am-now-as-tall-as-my-178cm-tall-bf. I love them. They are perfect in every way, and did not come with a hefty price tag neither.
I got featured thrice in the past month:
-Stylescoop
-Tongueinchic1
-Tongueinchic2
Thank you to Candy and Jasna for featuring me in their work. You’ve made my month! :D
Oh and i’m thinking of changing my page to ‘friends only’….. thinking thinking…

Omg, i have been looking for lace-up boots with silver hardware for quite some time now… was getting frustrated, went on every single online store but couldn’t find anything i liked. So i gave up. But then a few days ago i saw these boots in an advertisement; it was love at first sight!! But… they were $200!
$200 is not too expensive for decent boots, but that $200 could go well towards a nice wooden coffee table or a tv cabinet for our new house. $200 could also buy us a couple of chairs and stools, maybe even some cute cushions too.
But in the end, i made a selfish choice and decided to spend that $200 on myself…. hahaha.
Ahhh. I feel ashamed!!
