I kind of shrugged it off when I heard it was going to snow 5 inches. But it did!
Sometimes photo mishaps turn out to be more fun to share. Here’s one where I lost my balance (?) and took a quick hold of the snow covered balustrade. Cold fingers => face. Oops!

I think I was 10 the last time I visited NYC. I had no clue as to the vastness of this amazing City.

How tempting it is to constantly talk about… the weather here, sshhh! How trite! If only to justify what I’m wearing to those of you swallowed by downy parkas and woolen coats, cocooned in heavy knit scarves… How dare I! No, I feel for you, really. Remember, I lived in Toronto, Canada for quite a while. Not being challenged by subzero temperature-dressing is new to me. This reminds me of when I was 10… of my beloved duck booties, remember those? Maybe you’ve seen them resurface in this season’s J.Crew catalogue. Completely out of my sartorial comfort zone nowadays, even if I were subjected to extreme winter conditions again, don’t think they’d be my first choice. No instead, I’d wear my ugg-ly boots. Shame on me. hhmm. Who would notice anyway, no one blinded by the blizzard at least…
Well anyway, not unlike many retired citizens, I have my crutch. Hopefully you found this amusing.
