Shop Sales!

I own a few cute pairs of shoes from Gap and their sister store Old Navy (some really cute brown and black flats, a pair of funky ON red flats, and now a sweet pair of nude/metallic sandals). What I've found is yes, the shoes can be uncomfortable--if you don't walk around in the store with them on for a while, sometimes you find weird seams that rub and hurt. However, the quality and materials are good, and the styles are usually mainstream and very cute.

I would recommend shopping sale shoes at Gap. Sometimes they get really cheap; the metallic sandals I just bought were 7$! But you should definitely wear them around the store first, to see that they're comfortable. Even super cheap shoes aren't worth it if they hurt. Also, remember that sometimes you can change the shoes. The sandals I bought had this funky back strap that was a bit too long, and looked so weird on becuase it kinda stuck out. My mom took a razor to it and readjusted the strap and bam! Stylish, cute, awesome 7$ shoes.

Also, the Gap Outlet usually doesn't have really discounted Gap shoes (from my experience), although at the end of a season sometimes you can get super discounted boots and sandals.

Gap shoes = Pain!

I am a flats kinda girl and over the past couple of months I have bought a few pairs at the Gap. At first they seem great, cute, well made, cheap...but after a few wears something always ends up rubbing or cutting my feet. A couple of the ones I bought have a weird seam just over my pinky toes and it creates the worst blister!
They also seem to fit small compared to my usual size and of course they don't have half sizes so I am stuck using insoles.

I really do not recommend Gap for shoes!
