First of all, I just wanted to say that I’m sorry I haven’t updated in so long, but my camera is broken! I dropped it in Beijing, and alas have been unable to take photos since then.

These photos were taken for our school paper—my boyfriend and I were voted most stylish couple! Andddd since I coincidentally happened to be wearing F21 head to toe (even layering 2 of their skirts!) today, I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to enter this into the F21 Forever Sweethearts contest.

My bf and I have been together for over 2 years now, and we had a great V-day at a fancy, delicious restaurant.

So now that I’m in Beijing for the summer, learning Chinese and romping around the city with friends, I don’t really have time to take some photos. So I have to scope around my tourist photos for ones that will fit the bill. Unfortunately, that means a) my photos will be quite an amalgam, and b) the focus will be taken off the clothes. I hope no one really minds.

I wore this out for a day of exploring the Forbidden City, and then later at night to a birthday party where the dress code was All-White.

So, I’m not normally one to dress all in one color, unless it’s black. I got these harem pants last summer in Paris at some no-name street-side shop, and really tortuously debated between black and beige. In the end, I went with beige. I usually wear this with a bright dash of color on top, like a red tank or a juicy orange tee. Today, however, I decided to give it a go with all beige!

Also, I know I have really muscular legs. They’re genetic.

It really makes me unhappy how unsuccessful my attempts to capture the details of my clothes are. I increased the brightness and contrast, to the effect of making my skin look garish, and it STILL CAN’T show you all the beautiful new detailing on my new anthropologie jacket :(

I’m not normally one for floral dresses. They really aren’t that versatile, and can’t be worn year-round. However, this dress that was my mom’s from way-back-when has just the sexiest cut, with intricate panels that fit to your body and accentuates all your womanly curves. I love it! Best part it, is also has pockets. Gotta love a dress with pockets.

Ok, ok, so I caved and bought a pair of these fugly geek glasses from UO, despite all my previous mockery of their fugliness. My boyfriend really likes them, so I must say that was a persuasive factor in jumping on the bandwagon. I’m trying to decide whether or not I want to get them switched out with real prescription lenses. What do you guys think?

I can’t help but feel that everything just looks better without the glasses…
