Odette Cage Booties are a good buy if you want to look chic with any outfit. They are good for parties, going out on a date. As far as heels go, they are comfortable!
I received these shoes for my birthday, they're super cute! They extremely comfortable and look really great against my complexion.
However, one thing that is killing me is the closure. For some reason, the closure is on the same side of both shoes. One is on the OUTSIDE of the left shoe, and the other is on the INSIDE of the right shoe. It's been bothering me so much, I've been wearing them only with jeans.
In the past, I have bought other shoes from Forever 21, but I would only ever buy flats. Heels are too risky. My newest flats from there are almost a year old and still in great shape.
i totally bought a few pairs in the past, some were actually favorites for some time, but then like a few stories ive heard, the heel broke on my favorite pair!!
i still have about 2 other pairs that ive worn and they have been fine so far, but im always afraid the heel will break on me.
i do love the alexander wang knock offs they have right now. they make amazing knockoffs, but knockoffs are what they are.. really horrible quality. :T
ive read some stories about how heels have been broke (so sorry to hear dat) and other things fortunatley I havent had any horror stories with my F21 shoes. I have to agree they are sometimes not comfy and the material isnt the best BUT iLove wearin them becuase they are super cute! My fav pair are thses gold and black peep toe type of suede thing =) they are cute and they go with a lot of things
Okay, so a lot of you may know that Forever 21 doesn't offer the best quality of clothes, so you might have assumed it's the same with their shoes, right? Well, you're right. I thought the same thing but after buying a pair of boots from them that seemed perfectly sturdy, I thought I must have underestimated F21.
I will never give F21 the benefit of the doubt ever again. I bought the Alexander Wang knock-off open-toe fringe boots and because one heel was super unsturdy, I had to exchange it for another pair. I wore the 2nd pair once and during the second wear, the heel broke on me. I was super embarrassed too 'cause I was at the mall and everyone was looking at me :(
I went to F21 and they gladly offered an exchange or store credit, but seeing as how much I like the boots, I just told them I'd try to get them fixed and if I had no such luck, then I'd come back and return them.
Some of their shoes seems to have great craftsmanship, others don't. Just be cautious when you buy their shoes with heels that have no arch at the edge where it connects to the actual shoe (if that makes any sense).
If I go to F21, i'll directly go to clothes and accessories spot...these 2 spots are much more interesting...for the shoes, i never buy from f21...there are not many choices of color and model...but, someday, if i find the appropriate one for me, i think i'll buy it
they are okay. they're cheap and usually pretty (sometimes a bit too tacky though). I was tempted to get one of their shoes last weekend, but after trying them on, I figured my feet will die in them after a few minutes...
either their just not for my feat or they have to work a bit on the shoes' architecture (add padding or something?)
otherwise, it would have been okay, considering the price
I've always liked forever21. Prices are reasonable, and the items that they offer are really trendy. But when it comes to shoes, I am not that impressed. Their shoes look good, that's for sure. But when it comes to quality... blaaaah! You get what you pay for. I guess it's fine if you're just planning to use the shoes for photos here in chictopia. :P
some can look so chic others just look like plastic. you have to be careful around here but usually you can't really go wrong. Someone told me that forever 21 factories are sweat shops... eeeeh :/
I made a promise to myself long ago that I would never buy shoes from Forever 21 due to the poor quality and craftsmanship. Plus, 99% of the time, their shoes looks tacky. And I definitely wasn't sure if I could trust the durability of those heels.
However, I saw a pair of brown Prada look-alike boots on sale for $13 and immediately knew I had to get them. I've worn them twice as of presently, and comfort is a little less than average. There is no sole padding, so my feet were dead tired and sore by the end of the first day I had them on.
My feet are just going to have to get use to them, but I can say the material is obviously very cheap and coarse - but it's okay. I only bought them for $13 :)
