Figuring out to wear tonight. :D
New necklaces which were a gift from my lovely sister!
And my favorite watch, because you can’t do New Years Eve without the ticking time!

So here it is, the end of the year. I couldn’t be any more happy than I am now. This year was great; great people, great experiences, but most of all, great fashion! Looking through my old posts throughout my time here at Chictopia has made me realize how much I’ve grown as a person, inside and out. And I’d like to thank everyone here for the inspiration and positive feedback! :)
I hope everyone’s New Year is fab! <3

I ended up loving the effect of the accidental blurriness.
And I am absolutely in love with Calvin Klein’s version of the caged heels: it is subtly casual and 100% comfortable.

This is something I put together for my cousin’s birthday party at a tea house in Kansas City. The theme was Gossip Girl fab, and I thought I’d go in Little J. fashion. Decked out in black and metals but I wanted to add a little pastel for the “tea” part. So I replaced the dress’ original black lace string for a mint green ribbon which I also added to the fancy Gothic hat. Mint green was chosen, for one because it is my second favorite color (second to purple :]), and also because it went well with the perfect tea party heels: little bowed ruffle pair. To top it all off, I wore a pocket watch inspired timepiece that reminded me of Alice and Wonderland’s white rabbit.

A little background: I’m a senior in high school and just a few months away from graduation. That means applications, applications, applications! …And college visits! My first visit was the Illinois Institute of Technology, which conveniently coincided with my Thanksgiving break we spent with my uncle. Let’s just say, after that short visit, I couldn’t wait to start Fall 2010!

So unfashionably walking off the train in Chicago, face wise.
The outfit however, made me feel like a rockstar walking down Michigan Ave!
My biggest pet peeve is looking like a tourist; I’ll sacrifice comfort for style any day.
This is a lot of leather for one day but I had just bought these coverups before the trip and had to test them out in Chi-town!
I also loveee this bomber because it has a hood, a leather hood none the less.
