Hiii Chictopians! My name is Lady Hidalgo(believe it or not that’s my name), I’m from a little island in the caribbean, Dominican Republic, we share the island with Haiti and our neighbors are Cuba, Puerto Rico and Jamaica. Even though the weather here is hot I love wearing black, is one of my favorite colours, the other are purple and acqua. I can say my style is a little bit eclectic… When I was younger I was considered in high-school as metal/gothic or punk, because that was the kind of music I listened by then(the story hasn’t change a lot), but know I’m wearing a lil bit of color. If I could live in another era, maybe would be the victorian era, the clothing was so romantic and feminine back then, love the lace, the cameos, etc. Also I like the 50’s because of the pin up girls, love the cinched waist, red lips and the sensuality of the clothing and finally the 60’s( mini-skirts) and 70’’s(bell bottoms, cropped t-shirts, hippie, platforms, wedges). I love everything about fashion, because is a form of art and I can feel free to express myself, depending on my mood or how I feel, even though I like to know what’s trendy I have my own style and dress by my body type, because I think we should wear what’s flatters our figure and what makes us feel comfortable and pretty.
