Who’s going to be my Valentine this year? Me!
It may sound a little self-centered to say I love myself, but that’s not how I mean it at all. I think that learning to love yourself exactly as you are is the most important thing a person can do. I spent years wishing I was different and trying to be someone I’m not. But I’m done with nonsense now. I’ve realized that even though I’m far from perfect, I’m actually a pretty awesome person. So maybe you can look at this more as confidence than self-love.
I quote RuPaul… “If you can’t love yourself, how the hell you gonna love somebody else?”
