Burberry is one of those timeless brands that is able to tweak its products just enough to update them, while keeping each seasons cohesive. Normally, I find this design philosophy a little bland, but Burberry pulls it off. I'm a huge fan of the darker, edgier direction they've been heading in.
These shoes are comfortable (wedge platform), easy to walk in (lace-up), and supremely well constructed. I love that Burberry dabbles into the realm of rubber, heavy-duty soles. I much prefer them to the usual "luxury" leather sole. Scuffing the bottom of my shoes is inevitable, and leather soles just end up mangled after a couple of wears out on city streets. It's heartbreaking, really. Rubber soles don't wear as easily, AND you don't have to worry about making a ruckus while walking around. The clickety-clack that comes with most shoes does not apply with these.
They're not the most affordable, but if you're looking for a nice pair of boots that will last (and provide great traction!), I'd suggest looking into Burberry.
