You know this time of year has it’s million and one holiday parties. One of my friends decided to put a spin on the traditional holiday party.
Since everyone is in a Mad Men frenzy, he decided to go with that theme. There were even throw back drinks, old nat geo magz, and old life magazines.
I will say I don’t know how our foremothers and forefathers stayed cooped up in so much refinement all night.

My inspiration was one of the characters Betty Draper.

It was a good friends b-day and we celebrated at Eden’s Lounge here in Baltimore.

The mood was festive and the scene was all smiles & hugs.

For some reason i’m really feeling gray and rust/cognac together.

This dress was 2.50 at Old Navy…gotta love an extra 50% off clearance. The shoes (super dope find..so dope i have them in 2 colors..), earrings and belt just rounded out the look…and might I add, so did my new hair color.

15 years out of high school…i cannot believe it!

The dress was made for me by my brother who just so happened to make this for me 2 years ago.

I wore it to Colorado. I’d gotten a gig styling an up and coming R&B singer.

Anywhoot..this time i decided to pair it with a cream leather clutch and some cream patent leather shoes with black piping.

Also my hair has been re colored.

I was going to a tailgating and wanted to be comfy. I paired it with a grey hoody and a peach scarf :).

I swear I love my Nike Air Assaults air and my Gap always skinny’s…

I wore a wonderful magenta sweater from Cloud 9. I thought it was a rare find until I saw Kandi wearing it on Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Soon after I was searching for the perfect matte bubblegum pink for my complexion….viola! Nars’ Schiap.

Who knew i’d wear both together.

This saturday one of my friends decided to join me as I ventured out to the raw bar. Now that I no longer play flag football my saturday’s are free. That also means more clams, oysters and beer. :)

My outfit was the perfect mix of casual cool.

Oh! I had on my new fave thing. My lego earrings :)
