really pretty and beautiful colours, but a bit see-through so you need to wear another skirt underneath. I f you want a more summery look, they look great with a bikini just as a chiffon cover up.

I was hesitant to buy a corduroy skit at first, fearing the images of spinach green, misshapen maxi skirts that I usually associate with the idea of corduroy skirt. However, American Apparel outdid themselves with this one. It's high-waist style with a dramatic flare which can be pared with anything from a quirky t-shirt to a nice blouse to a trendy sweater. And, since it's American Apparel, it comes in a whole array of colors. I am the proud owner of both the truffle and the navy versions of this skirt. Well worth it.

I bought the double layered chiffon maxi skirt in tan today and it's gorgeous! Perfect length and great quality. <3

I now have 2 american apparel velvet skirts. They are so pretty and well made and they look great with everything! They are also super comfortable. They are a bit too long for my taste though, if they were 2 inches shorter they would be the perfect length. The colors are rich and vibrant.

I am a huge American Apparel fan and when I saw their Velvet. collection I died of happiness. There were a few other cute items, but I felt this was the more wearable. It's so soft and comfortable and I get tons of compliments on it. It's best to pair it with simpler items because it overpowers items with heavy prints no matter how cute the garment. It's perfect for all seasons and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to add a vintage feel to any outfit.
